Dr Shreya provides her patients with the best Dermatological care. She uses the most up-to-date technology and products in a safe and effective manner.
On arrival at your appointment with Dr Shreya, you will be met by her friendly reception staff. You will have a detailed consultation with Dr Shreya in which you will discuss your symptoms, medical history and any concerns you have. She will also need to examine the area(s) of concern. Depending on what is being examined a biopsy or swab may be taken to help determine the cause of the symptoms. A blood test may also be required to assist in the diagnosis.

Medicare card
Any scans and tests relevant to your skin
A list of your current medications
New patients to Northern Sydney Dermatology & Laser need to print and complete a New Patient Registration Form to bring to their initial consultation
Cancellation Policy
To assist in reminding you about your upcoming appointment NSDL will provide an SMS service. You will receive a message one week prior to your booked appointment to confirm the date and time. Furthermore, NSDL will also follow up 72 hours prior, to patients who have not confirmed back to the SMS message ensuring that you are made fully aware of your upcoming appointment.
NSDL require 48 hours notice in line with our SMS notification service if you decide to cancel your appointment. Late cancellations or non-attendance to appointments will incur a fee. NSDL do charge a cancellation fee for missed late cancellation and missed appointments as our doctors have considerable waiting lists. If you cancel in a timely manner we are then able to offer that appointment to another patient who may be waiting to see a Dermatologist sooner.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral to see Dr Andric?
Dr Shreya Andric is a specialist medical practitioner so a referral from your doctor is required to obtain a Medicare rebate. A referral is preferred, although not required.

What is a Dermatologist?
A dermatologist treats diseases, in the widest sense, and some cosmetic or aesthetic problems of the skin, scalp, hair, and nails.

Does Medicare or Private Health insurance cover cosmetic procedures?
Generally cosmetic procedures are not covered by the Medicare rebate. Possible exceptions to this rule include the treatment of facial capillaries, birthmarks and some scarring. Your dermatologist will advise you on what can be claimed prior to commencing treatments.
What are the fees for an appointment?
You will be given a quotation for your initial consultation at the time of booking your appointment. This does not include additional services such as a biopsy (procedure) or cryotherapy (dry ice spray).
You may also receive a separate account from a pathology provider if a procedure is performed and skin is sent for testing.
